My son is a TEXAN...well not really

Our Space Raider coach called last night and told us that our little league football organization has the opportunity to play another team (Alvin Yellow Jackets)during halftime of the Texans game on Saturday, August 9! Isn't that awesome? His team has won their league championship for his age group three years in a row, so what a way to end his little league experience! Practice starts later this week, so we are in ROCKY mode...."start singing the tune in your head". He's going to drink raw eggs and run in sweats up and down some stairs!!!! I'm going to get him ready just in case there is a scout out there! For those of you that didn't know, Mitchell plays Fullback and Linebacker. He doesn't carry the ball much, but the ball carrier is always right behind him because he is the lead blocker for the other backs! I think I am more excited than he is! In the picture, he is number 44!

Followed Joe to Dallas

Joe had business in Dallas so we decided to follow him. The first thing Drew asked was, "Are we allowed to do that?" Today, we surprised the boys by taking them to Fossil Rim Wildlife Preserve in Glenrose, Texas. It's a 9.5 mile wildlife park where the animals come right up to your car. It was amazing to see thousands of animals.....The giraffes were beautiful, however, not when their entire head peered into your car and slimed you! Enjoy the slide show!

The boys couldn't wait to pick up their big bro from the airport. Spencer was happy to be home after a month away working on the beach! He looks as though he grew 5 inches....He's tall, dark, and SKINNY!!! Of course, his money is burning a hole in is pocket, so we are going shopping tomorrow....He deserves it! As you can see from the pictures....Roux missed him too!

Super Skater

Mitchell is a genius! (He takes after his mom) He and his friends video tape themselves skating with his digital camera. He decided to create a video of his "tricks". I, of course, had to help him with the conversion of files and the editing/manipulation of software, but he did a GREAT job on his first try....enjoy.

Wave Pool

Today was fun. My friends and I took all of our boys to a wave pool in Laporte. The boys had a blast. The waves pushed Drew around like a little rag doll, but he loved it. We are counting down the days for Spencer's return. He is coming home on Wednesday. We really miss him. He is going parasailing tomorrow. I hope he doesn't chicken out!
