Kinda nice when they want to hang out with their friends for Trick or Treat. Drew went with a friend, and the boys were just hanging with their friends. Joe and I got to chill at home alone!

When I got to the game this afternoon, I saw this lined up where we cheer. I thought to myself, “What the hell is going on. Is Chick Fil A sponsoring us tonight b/c the game is televised???”
Then my girls started screaming HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEFFERIES…HAVE YOU HERD?????????????????????? JEFFERIES IS 42…It took me a moment to understand the PUN, but then I saw the poster they made for me.
Drew’s team won again….They finished their conference season undefeated and now the are headed to the semi-finals. One more game to go then SUPERBOWL! It would be so special if he got to play in a Superbowl game. Spencer got to play in one, and Mitchell got to play (and win) three. LET’S GEAUX DREAUX!!!

Joe and I went to a Halloween Party last night. Joe is NOT a big “dresser-upper” and I had a last minute wardrobe malfunction as Marilyn Monroe, so…..
JOE (aka – Mo)
Me ( aka – myself)
I think because our weeks are so busy, when Sunday comes along, we collapse on the couch and watch TV all day long…We do church and the grocery store, and that’s it…It takes a miracle to budge us out of the house. Around 5 in the evening, we start moving again. We saw a dead snake and decided to investigate it. The dogs and Drew found it fascinating
And b/c I love my powdered donut so much, here are some pics of Beignet….Isn’t he cute!
Here’s the other black dog we have….Joe will get mad if I don’t post a picture of her! haha
One other random picture….This cross was in a plant from my grandmother’s funeral. I enjoy looking at it every time I back in and out of my drive way. I like to think it is blessing our home.

Today was our last regular season game and we finished undefeated! We start playoffs next week.
Drew plays total defense and today they let all the guys that never got to run the ball, run it. He was tackled behind the line of scrimmage and thrown to the ground like a rag doll, but he was thrilled to death he got a chance to run it in a real game.
Enjoy the pictures!
His individual picture!
I find he looks a lot like Joe in this picture.

Today was a BIG game for our football team. We played our biggest rival, Clear Lake High School. For the last 5 or so years, we have beat them pretty consistently in Football, Baseball, & Basketball. Tonight was no different! We beat them in double overtime.
Before the game, we had a pep rally at school. It was a special day because we designated the day “Pink Out Lake” in honor of all of the staff, family members, etc suffering from Breast Cancer. Our baseball team designed some pretty awesome shirts that sold like hotcakes. On campus today was a sea of PINK, it was great to see the kids honoring this special cause! I proudly wore my shirt b/c my mom is a 10 year breast cancer survivor!
Needless to say, the kids were pumped and it was one of the best pep rallies that Liz and I had ever planned. Here are a few pictures!
The “gangsta” lady in the bottom right would be our principal. All of the principals, some staff members, cheerleaders, dance team members, & band participated in a really cool dance for the student body…Shake it Mrs. Staley!
This year we started something new. We invite some special needs students (on left) to cheer with us. We let them cheer as long as they like, they get to wear a uniform, their name is announced, and we put them up in a stunt. I’m not sure who gets more excited………them or their parents! It warms my heart to see these special kids so happy! Good job, Melissa!
Here she is in a Prep…She isn’t very sure about this whole stunting thing by the look on her face!
Now, are you ready for the pink?
Notice the pink socks on our boys! Real Wolverines wear pink!
A local business donated pink poms for my girls to use while cheering!
The dance team did a Daughter/Father dance to Pebbles/Fred Flintstone. It was adorable.
Our dance team sponsor is battling breast cancer. My girls painted her a pink megaphone that said “Team Singleton” to help her “Cheer for A Cure” She is such an inspiration!
My buddy, Trenton, and his Daddy Gene, & Big Will. Mom is at home preparing to give birth on Wednesday. Dad was a trooper bringing Trenton to the game. Mom got some much needed rest!Every year Liz and I like to take the Seniors out to dinner after a game. Because we are usually with those girls for four years, we grow really close to them…(Some we are glad to get rid of…others, we are sad when they leave).
These are all but two of my Senior Cheerleaders eating wings!
