We were wondering if he was EVER going to lose his front tooth! He’s turning into such a young man….I guess the awkward stages are coming! I know all mothers think their babies are precious….I sure do!
One of my best friends from high school was the Queen of a Mardi Gras Krewe. It is a closely guarded secret in town as to whom the queen and king are, so when I got my invitation, I knew it could only be one person.
Because our boys have such busy schedules, Joe decided to stay behind and I brought my other significant other, Liz, with me. She had never done “Mardi Gras” before, so she was excited to say the least.
Our friend, Doug, who we worked with for a few years at Brook, just left the teaching profession and got a job in Baton Rouge. He came in to meet us and we Laissez les bons temp rouler…all night. Doug and Liz would not be able to hang with the crazy cajuns I call family and friends. We had such a great time and I loved sharing it with such good friends.
Keri looked beautiful and it was so nice having my old (not age old…haha) friends meet and hang with my new friends.
