This is all I got!
This is the third year that some of my friends have a ladies fantasy football league. We have a few new members this year. I can't wait for the season to start b/c I love the competition. We enlisted our principal and assistant principal into our "elite" group this year! I'm sure it will be a blast!
The Fantasy Crew!
My principal, really concentrating on her picks!
One of our newbies, Jenni, and our GREAT Commissioner, Kim!

Mitchell is now in 10th grade and so far likes his teachers! Believe it or not, I had no part in picking them this year.
Spencer started his first day at UH. He was so excited to see a bunch of people he knew. He even met "Psycho Bob's" son. They played football together years ago in little league. He is majoring in business, so Spencer was pumped to have the inside scoop in the Business College!
I'm exhausted and my wonderful husband is staying in town this week so that we all get acclimated to our new schedules.

Drew’s team scrimmaged the Deer Park Tigers yesterday. We were very excited that they scored 9 times and our Defense held their offense to about 40 yards the entire game.
Drew is rotating Defensive Guard and Corner, depending on the play they call. It’s so fun to watch our last little Space Raider. I remember like it was yesterday watching Spencer & Mitchell. (wiping tears!!!)
There he his going after the QB, firing through the line (Middle red jersey)
Can’t wait for the season to start next week. Maybe a cool front will come through!
Still love my Saints even though they didn’t fare so well. But it’s only preseason, so they will return!!
We wanted to have a few friends over to watch the game with us. We were going to grill, but luckily we have a friend who fishes. He brought some fresh fish over and we had a fish fry. We also had fried oysters (I had in the freezer), hush puppies, fries, & coleslaw.
We ended up watching very little of the game b/c we enjoyed visiting outside by the pool.
Here is Joel & Joe making sure Gene doesn’t set himself on fire. He has a habit of doing that!
I enjoyed sitting and holding Trace while drinking out of my nice new “Cajun wineglass” – (Mason jar with a stem – Thanks Mom)
We tried to get a few couples shots!
Me & Joe
Stacy & Gene (Trace)
Brooke & Joel
The girls (minus Hollie – she gave birth Saturday, so she was excused!)
After we ate, we hit the water!
The boys diving through Hula Hoops
Nice evening to end our summer Vacation. As my Daddy reminded me EVERY SUNDAY night (with a taunting little song)…SCHOOOOLLLL TOOMORROWWWWWWWWWWWW!

Thursday afternoon around 4, I decided to leave for New Iberia. I begged Mitch to come with me b/c Joe had to stay with Drew and Spencer had to work. We had so much fun.
We shopped all day Friday and went to my Parent’s houseboat in the Atchafalaya Basin today.
Warning, the next two images you will see are of ferocious reptiles. If you watch Swamp People, you know that the Basin is a very dangerous place.
I fought this “Tree Shaka” for over an hour before I got him in my boat and tagged him!
My Dad kept yelling at Mitch to “choot it …choot it” He decided to catch it with a cup and let it go!
Here are a few pictures of the basin and the houseboat.
This camp was a former Meth lab. My brother’s friend bought it at an auction and dragged it out to the basin!
Our ride out there.
Hard at work!
I LOVE this picture of my Dad!
I then gave my niece the camera and she went to town!
After we got home, we showered and Mitch and I went visiting…or so we thought. Father in law – NOT HOME, Best Friend – NOT HOME, Sister in law – NOT HOME. I guess we need to give them more of a notice when we just show up!
Mitchell and I did play for about 15 minutes with my sister in law’s dog. She didn’t like us, be we sure liked her.
After we went to mass, we went to an OLD Pizza Place and had pizza and beer.
Nephew Jon & Mitch
The rest of us!
When we got home, we had a concert. My nephew is a really good guitar player. We may have paid Mitchell to do a little Michael Jackson dancing too. And we mustn't for the princess. She performed too!
Ashlyn performing (As usual)
Jon taught Mitchell a few chords. Now that he has drums, I foresee Santa bringing a nice guitar and amp!
The proud audience!
Johnny B Good!
Caution…..You may wet yourself! (Mitch dancing, John playing Billy Jean)
